6. Site Navigation

6.1 Main Page

The main page of the site comprises the following elements.

The top-right area of the website is reserved for user authentication and registration.

The left menu contains a quick navigation panel linking to various categories.

The central block contains events and prices. This block comprises Featured Events. Clicking on a price will automatically add it to the bet slip.

Most sports will display a number of markets and prices on the front page, with further markets being available by pressing the arrow button.

The numbers to the left of the selection names relate to the numbers shown in the column headings above the prices.

6.2 Event Navigation

The 'Sport' button will always return you to the main page. The home page can also be accessed by clicking on the Marathon logo at the top of the page.

Clicking on the 'All Events' link will display all events currently on the website. Clicking on a particular event's name will display markets and prices under that event name without taking you away from the page. Selecting several events via the check box next to the name, then clicking the 'Show Selections' button, will display the selected event's prices on a new page.

The 'Events for' drop down menu allows you to view all events which are starting within the specified time frame.

Clicking on a particular category on the left menu will display the prices for all events within that category in the central section of the screen. Clicking on the arrow next to the category will show the contents of that category, from where specific sub categories can be clicked and displayed in the central part of the screen.

The 'Live Bets' tab will show a page containing all current and forthcoming events on which ‘Live’ betting is available.

6.3 Betting Slip

Clicking the bet slip header section will either open or close the bet slip. The number of selections will be displayed in brackets in the header section.

The Singles tab lets you place Single bets for all contained selections with either different or identical stakes. Different stakes can be entered in each selection's stake box, while an identical stake for all selections can be entered in the box labelled Singles, after first clicking on the associated check-box.

The Accumulators tab allows you to place Doubles, Trebles and Accumulators.

The Multiples tab allows you to place various other bet types such as Lucky 15's and Yankees. Each available bet type will have its own Stake and Potential Returns box. The total potential returns for that tab is displayed below.

Once you have entered the stake for the selections in the bet slip, the bet can be placed by pressing the 'Place Bet' button.

Checking the 'Retain selections in slip after placement' box will keep all the current selections in the bet slip after a bet has been placed.

6.4 Coupon format

Where a series of events are displayed in the coupon format you can make multiple selections from one page.

Clicking on a selection's price will add that selection to the bet slip.

If a downwards arrow is visible, then additional markets are available for that event. Clicking on a downwards arrow will present additional markets and prices. In some cases, there will be further additional markets, which will be displayed as links in the expanded markets view. Clicking on such links will open up a new window with additional prices.

6.5 User Menu

The User Menu is located at the top of the page. This menu contains the following options:

Deposit: To transfer funds into your Marathonbet Account.

Withdrawal: To withdraw your money back to your nominated payment source.

My Account: This contains a number of sub options which provide you with the means to manage your Marathonbet Account, view transaction histories, configure player protection settings etc.

Logout: This ends your current session on the Marathonbet website.

6.6 Time Zones

It is possible to customize your time zone, so that the start times of events are displayed in your local time. This can be done from the My Account – Other Settings page.

6.7 Selection Search

The search button in the left hand column allows you to quickly find all markets that a particular selection is involved in.

For a definitive search the whole name should be entered in the search box.

You can make a search using part of a selection name. At least 3 characters must be entered in the search box and a list will show of all selections names containing those characters in that order. The more characters you enter the more precise the search results will be.

From the search result you can move directly to any market displayed.
